Tips
- Let the phone rest first
For a room reading, leave the phone unused for about five to ten minutes before checking the displayed temperature. The app explains that battery heat during use can make the sensor reading higher than the actual room temperature. If you have just been using the phone, give it time to rest before relying on the result.
- Enable location and network
Turn on network connections and location services when you want the app's weather information. The app uses your location to show the current outdoor temperature from nearby weather stations, so these conditions matter for that view. If the outdoor reading is unavailable, first check that both services are enabled and that the phone can connect.
- Compare indoor and outdoor readings
Use the indoor and outdoor temperature readings together when you want a quick picture of conditions around you. The indoor figure comes from the phone's built-in temperature sensor, while the outdoor information depends on nearby weather stations and your location. Remember that active phone use can warm the battery and affect the room reading.
Menu names follow the developer's help pages and can differ slightly between versions and phones.
How we write the digest
Each week we check the Google Play listings of the apps our readers use most: the version number, the update date and the developer's What's new notes. When an app has a new version, we put the developer's update notes and the listing details together on one page, in plain words, with a link to the official Google Play listing. Google and most developers release updates in stages over several days, so a version listed here may not have reached your phone yet. GoCompareNow is an independent site and is not affiliated with any developer. This page doesn't read your phone or your Google account, and nothing is installed from here.
FAQ
Is this the official list of Indoor thermometer changes?
No. This is an independent site and is not affiliated with Sweetvrn. The app's Google Play page is the authority for its official listing and current change information. Check that page for the details shown for the app, and use the developer name there to confirm you are viewing the intended listing.
Why does Google Play show Open instead of Update?
Google Play may show Open when the latest build is already available to the app on that account and device. Updates can also reach people at different times during a staged rollout. If you see Open, check the app's Play page again later; the button reflects what Google Play currently offers for that listing.
Why does the indoor reading seem too high?
The app uses the phone's built-in temperature sensor for its room reading, and the phone's battery can warm up while the device is in use. The app recommends leaving the phone unused for about five to ten minutes before checking. Letting it rest can help avoid a reading raised by recent phone use.
